What is The Yard? The Yard will allow players to create their own avatar, with advanced customization options to create the most realistic appearance possible. All these options will be in the Style Zone of this mode, where you can also change your haircut, tattoos, clothes and accessories. The central point of The Yard gameplay lies in the frenzy and unpredictability that matches can be due to the strange rules and the abilities of the players on the field. The matches will face two teams of six players, in which each team will fight in the most daring way to achieve more points than its rival. Of course, each action will be conditioned by spectacular tricks, impossible passes and huge jumps that will play an important part in the development of the plays. Likewise, as the mode aims to simulate American football games on the street, refereeing will be practically absent from the games and rudeness will be the order of the day in every second of the game, so you gotta be ready to receive some blows while you try to reach the touchdown zone. The Yard can be played solo, online multiplayer co-op and online against your friends or the CPU.
You can play The Yard: Underground on your mobile. The Yard: Underground is now available on Madden NFL 21 Mobile and, similar to what you do on Madden Ultimate Team with the MUT Coins, you can start to train your player and win some money to take advantage and increase the potential of your player before the launch of the game. In the case of Mobile version, the matches face up two teams of 5 players, like a preview of all the features that you will enjoy in the full console version of The Yard mode. Madden NFL 21 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 28, 2020. Users who acquired the current-gen version of the game will have the ‘Dual Entitlement’ right to claim the next-gen version of this game without any cost in their new console.
